Every year I want to buy one of these, and so far I've always talked myself out of it.

Super weird, my partner ordered this a couple weeks ago for an upcoming camping trip - she saw no reviews either and took a shot.. Crazy to actually be a random user and have a first-use experience with a new product I guess? Seems like this came out last Nov?

Anyway, we assembled it indoors, but it was relatively easy. I could probably set it up myself, but its an easy 2-person job. The center-post locks in above to create extra tension, making it easier to assemble with one person. Cover/screen can't stay on the frame, and frame itself is a solid 3.6 roentgen when it comes to build quality: solid for a 80$ walmart frame but obviously can do better.

Mesh screen is pretty taught, and Walmart give a little extra polyester on the bottom to make sure the canopy almost entirely sealed for bugs. The screen does pull pretty tight to fit around the frame, but I didn't see anywhere to easily snag or tear. The magnetic screen door works way better than I thought initially - my only concern would be uneven ground and how that would work with the door. I had to adjust the screen even after we anchored it to the frame to get the door to work well, but it worked really well when we got it aligned.

The fabric quality seems average, no 500D polyester, but i'd say we'll get 3-4 years use out of this without needing to treat it with anything. Haven't had it in direct sunlight or in the rain yet, but seems like it'd be average for both sun protection and rain protection. My partner also bought a replacement 'regular' canopy cover that fits perfectly with the 10x10 frame, making it dual-use for bug protection and an extra 10x10 for events.

For what it's worth, I have a couple Eurmax canopies and while they offer screened-wall accessories, they aren't geared for camping/fully sealing off the area and still had gaps. She looked specifically for a screened-in 10x10 and landed on this, no clue if there are better value brands that offer the same thing, but after her research she landed on this.

Take this word vomit of information as you will. Cheers!
