Avoid this brand of gas. They are not Tier 1 and there have been report of contaminants.

It would be the in ground tanks they are stored in if 7/11 gas was contaminated, their gas is no different than BJs

Get Tier 1 gas (such as Chevron, Exxon, Costco). Paying 30 cents more per gallon for Tier 1 is a bargain considering the additive and cleaning agents that will save you thousands in the long run. Having a clean engine gets you better mileage which will offset the 30 cents per gallon easily.

As someone whose family owned a gas station, I hate to break this news to you, but the same gas truck kept coming after we switched from Chevron to Arco.

Then I do not think you knew enough about your family's gas station. If the same truck comes and they are putting gas that has not been inspected with that Top Tier branding, they could be in a lot of trouble. It is basically the same concept as branding something as Organic from something that is GMO. If they are not branded as they are supposed to be, lawsuits!!

I do not think it is called Tier 1, it is called Top Tier. Sometimes, and you have to look at your car's maintenance manual that comes with the car, some manufacturer's discourage detergents to be used in their engines.
