I play golf on occasion and the golfers make fun of me regardless. The pants have no impact. In all seriousness, pants like this are great for travel. I bought a couple pairs similar to these when I went to Italy last year. They don't wrinkle, they are easy to clean in the sink and dry fast, they look decent during the day and you can wear them to dinner unless you're going to someplace formal, and they are really comfortable to walk in as well as sitting on a 10 hour flight. I highly recommend pants like this for traveling. I don't wear them to the office or to work in however.
