I used a noco battery charger with the "force power" function to accomplish this. You can also use a 100W 30 Ohm 5% Resistor from the battery cable (positive) to the positive inverter connection while the ground is connected.
Make the connection (battery cable) within a few seconds and you're good.

I doubt you actually need a pure sine wave inverter and if you do there are better quality units, like Victron.

I got a 48V/3K MultiPlus-II recently and am pretty pleased with how little power it uses and how efficient it is compared to my old Growatt hybrid inverter. We're talking ~10W AC-on/idle consumption vs 45-50W for the old unit.
