very slight drop from the $250 "normal" price micro center has it for on Amazon, but for those without a store nearby I thought I'd still share.

you're good Smilie the micro center deal is $50 less, but sadly the stores are too far for most.

Good price, but with the memory prices still so high, theres a chance Microcenter lowers this even more on Amazon. If you dont need to build right away, buy your parts staggered over time. If you need to build now, I would get this.

I got plenty of time and micro center opening soon near me should I just wait until they open here?

I would, they have incredible local deals, especially on grand openings.

This hangs somewhat close with the 7800X3D unless you have a monster GPU.

It's actually probably better for me and my bank account that I don't live near a Micro Center.

Good price for CPU only. There are some deals that pop up with mobo and some memory that could be a much better overall deal if you're building from scratch.

Been using this CPU for a year and a half and have not even thought about upgrading. I love it.

Not a bad price for this deal. Although, if I had the choice of an X3D chip on AM5, I'd probably opt for a 9700X3D and that's if AMD decides to release that variant. I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent using my 5700X3D for gaming and it was a fraction of the cost of a 5800X3D as in half its price, but I have since moved on from it.
