- Switched away from vibram for the sole material and was stiffer / prone to wrinkle or crimp when bending.
I actually went to Chinese brand barefoot shoes and was happier. Can anyone else corroborate and more importantly tell me if these have changed for the better again?I still have an old pair of tough gloves from 2010 ish, they are the best shoe/hiker/sneaker I've ever had.

Anyway, I haven't noticed a quality decline, but I've only tried one leather model, around 2019, and was not impressed—haven't tried again.

Tough Gloves were amazing.
Vapor glove leather, not so much.
