While I have not used this model, this type of lighter is great, but will need to be cleaned every once in a while.

I prefer the "goose neck" type that you can bend the end.

Def, unless you can do it and not touch the wick which is totally possible, my wife can't do that though amd trashes them quickly lol. I find rubbing alcohol cleana them good.

Either way... same thing. You still have to go straight in and light it. Its not like a candle is off center..

to me, rechargeable means in a few years when the battery has weakened, you need to buy a new one. I would prefer being able to use AAA battery(s) and then I would use cheap rechargeable AAA nickel-metal hydride batteries. Currently I use a cheap dollar tree butane lighter with a long extension that works well and doesn't have to be cleaned.
