It's pretty lousy there are no alternative pocket clip locations for this item. That would keep me from buying it no matter how cheap it was.

They don't even deliver to upstate NY. I can go hunting with my rifle, shot gun or bow, but I can't clean the damn deer because I can't get a knife from amazon to clean the deer with!

Your are correct. But I have had this one over a year and it is a great knife otherwise. Very sturdy but not to heavy for everyday carry. To be transparent I like the Kershaw brands alot. Not all of their knives are good but I have 4. Just sayin. 😁

Got mine yesterday. This is my first Kershaw. For the price its a great deal. I like the color, design and feel of the knife, however it is a little on the heavy side for EDC. I currently carry a SOG Flashback that is 3.55oz. While its only .5 oz heavier than the SOG, it feels like its heavier than that.

assisted open and rear flippers aren't supposed to be sold in NY but if you look around long enough you will find ones miss categorized on amazon. The bigger problem is there are loads of totally legal knives that also can't be sold due to also being miss-categorized. Engineers also have made it so assisted opening knives aren't any faster than manual knives now a days. instead of included springs, your fingers act as a spring, with the added bonus that they are easy to close too.

anyway, poor steel, tip down pocket clip, this is not any better than a $10 knife. Only sub $30 knife i can recommend is the CJRB pyrite light.
your options at $40 open up to literally dozens of recommendable knives from dozens of brands. kershaws good knives don't really start until $60 (iridium)

I have this, bought this used it was dirt cheap. its extremely sharp, the lock seems about to slip any day but its very secure. Its a good knife if you can find it cheaper, as a big box name, this shouldn't be more than $25 as it is.
