Honestly, when that deal came out, my parents always paid for it. Now that I actually budget, a footlong, in my state, would best be bought at like $3.08.

So let me know if footlongs ever get to $3.

This price is $5 for someone in Washington State or Washington D.C. with their high minimum wages.
