I was a bit disappointed when I first saw this post and thought Dino Crisis was a bundle for 1 and 2 for $4.99. Unfortunately it's $4.99 a piece. Might bite on Breath of Fire though. I remember playing that back in the day.

So you just refuse to play any game released on a platform before the PS3/Xbox360 era, I guess?

They added DRM to steam and it's the worst DRM. You can get it on GOG for the same price. https://www.gog.com/en/game/breath_of_fire_iv

They can easily add achievements to older titles. That's one of the main reasons I purchase them nowadays. It gives them new life.

Do I need to play BoF 1-3 for 4 to be as good as everyone claims? Or are they stand alone games?

Curious, whats the lure to achievements? So you can look at them later and be like "yeah, I played that game."? Not sure how that's the deciding factor to purchase a game rather then if its a good game. Lol
