I measured my size 15 men's running shoe. It is about 13.5 inches long. This probably equates to 1 shoe per bag of this approximately size.

...when did Walmart/Target start giving their bags away for free? They're between 75 cents and $2 each, depending on the size and "design". And even though it's a polypropylene-type material, it's more akin to a woven cloth than a solid plastic.
