May be a good price for this specific product but there's way more savings if you just don't buy Scotts brand seed. Other established brands are nearly 40% less for a bigger bag of seed.

Don't forget to aerate the lawn first!
Check your local seed providers. I got some great starter fertilizer and grass seed (50 pounds of each) for $169.

IMO, it's not even a brand thing. You will get much better value by buying the seed and fertilizer separately. You will save even more money by pregerminating first.

Links? Scott's isn't successful because they have the best product. They are successful because they bring their product to market the best. If you've got a link where I can buy better seed and fertilizer shipped to my door for this price, I'm all in.
