Possibly! Nothing still in business, but this model might be a dud for them.
I ordered one and quickly returned it. Thought it would be fun to play around with but not with inaccurate and suboptimal readings.
Obviously no wearable is 100% accurate but these missed the mark by a noticable margin

I was using a Fitbit Charge 6 daily for 2 years, but it suddenly stopped charging. I noticed one of the charging contact points was severely pitted and corroded. Salt + water + electricity + time. I could try to fill the pit with solder, but it's not recommended to be in contact with your skin for long periods of time. It's a brick now and many others have the same issue.
This watch is less than half the price of the Fitbit Charge 6 (they're still selling that model for 50% more than I paid two years ago??) with many extra features and a comparable battery life. It essentially has two modes - one low-power mode where it polls every few minutes for heart rate and an exercise mode where it's much more accurate and frequent with polling. I found the exercise auto-detection to be very reliable. The step tracker is just as accurate as the Fitbit, but in the opposite direction. With the Fitbit, I'd wake up in the morning with a couple hundred steps registered. This watch senses when I'm at rest and doesn't count any steps. But I did find that it would undercount my steps by about 10% unless I set it to an exercise mode like "outdoor walk."
I bought it (the gray model) to replace a Garmin Vivoactive 3 that I had to charge almost every day and also started having issues staying synced with my iPhone for some reason. This watch seems to hold a charge for a week, which is long enough for me to misplace the charging cable. :/
Sometimes I miss the Garmin's LCD screen when I'm out on a walk in the sun, but otherwise, the CMF has a beautiful OLED screen. Raising my arm/wrist to view the screen works much better than my Garmin ever did, but that's generally only an issue in darker environments. One downside of the screen outdoors is that it can be hard to see the screen with my polarized sunglasses, so I have to adjust my wrist angle to see it. This is my first OLED watch, so I don't know if that's a common issue.
Performance and responsiveness seem perfectly fine for me, and contrary to others, I don't notice any problems with the sensors. Carrying my Garmin with me at the same time, the step counts and heart rate are pretty close.
One downside is the relative lack of customized watch faces. There are quite a number CMF watch faces to choose from, but nowhere near the amount that Garmin has, so each watch face is a compromise -- gosh, I wish this one had the battery level...man, if only this one had my step count...etc.
That sucks that some are having problems with it, but I find it to be comfortable and between it's own app and its integration with Apple Health, it seems to work really well for me, especially for the price.
