How legit is getting it from WOOT? never haveIm in the market for a controller to play on my PC Windows
I have two controllers (other 8bitdo models) that I've gotten from woot. Had no issues. Shipped fast, undamaged, was legit. I don't use woot that often, but when I have I've had no issues.
Edit: Do keep in mind this particular one is using the switch controller layout, if that matters to you, though. Your A/B and X/Y will be reversed.
Edit2: The Xbox layout version isn't on woot atm, but it's $6 more on Amazon, in case the layout matters for you. Theyre good controllers. Primary drawback in my experience is the ergonomics, with the sides being nearly flat.

I agree. But I also got used to it. And this controller feels real premium for what it is.
I want to use on Mister FPGA platforms mostly that Im buying soon, and that is better on 2.4g wireless dongles vs pure bluetooth.
Can use either an included 2.4 dongle or bluetooth with this woot deal one ?

You should be able to switch the A/B and X/Y through their computer software. It allows you to customize i think up to 3 different profiles so I'd think you could customize one for Xbox and one for the switch and readily switch between the two.

Woot is legit. Just ordered a Pro 3 from them when they had an extra 20% off i think it was about 2 weeks ago.
Just note with returns, the return shipping is deducted from your return unless the product itself is damaged or non functional.

Absolutely agree. It's literally the only downside of them for me. Everything else is fantastic. There's a reason I have 3 different ones. The ergonomics certainly aren't stopping them from being my favorite, but I'm sure it's more problematic for others.
It's a great controller. The regular Xbox One used to be my favorite, but this one has TMR sticks and a better price and quality. Can't beat it. Also the charging dock and overall aesthetic are perfect.

Yeah, the game pad is good but I'm not too fond of the ergonomics on the 8BitDo Ultimate line. Also, for those wanting to use this on multiple platforms, I'm not sure if this supports Apple as it's not listed on 8BitDo's Apple page.
I prefer the GameSir Super Nova over this one ($35 on Woot). Handles flare out a bit more and it supports Switch, PC, Android and iOS. The faceplate is also removable and you can physically swap the ABXY buttons.

that super nova controller doesnt have 2 extra buttons next to the l2 r2 bumpers. Ive never had a controller with bumpers there so not sure how useful they are.

I find the extra top bumpers easy to reach while being less prone to accidental key presses. I usually don't assign anything to back paddles because I always end up pressing them accidentally.
I never really use the extra buttons though and just always stick to the standard controls.
