Apple has already launched new MacBooks and other computers this year, so there won't be a M5 version coming this year.
Also, this is the regular price on the Apple edu Store. For those who don't know, Apple doesn't check if you're registered in a university before allowing you to shop at their edu Store.

Apple tends to release the Mac Mini in the fall, so this isn't known yet.
