Just a heads up, the cash back options are changing in August for the PayPal Rewards program. I received the below email from PayPal Honey (whom seem to run this based on a support ticket I previously had with them). Be sure to redeem them for cash into your PayPal account before the deadline. Thankfully the points were usually quick to show up for me, but could technically take up to 90 days and get you close to this upcoming change.

Notice:
Amendments to the PayPal Rewards Program Agreement
Effective: August 1, 2026

Please note that certain features of the PayPal Rewards Program are being updated as follows:

The option to redeem PayPal Rewards Points for cash back into your PayPal balance account or directly into a linked bank account or linked debit card will be discontinued.
The option to redeem PayPal Rewards Points for cash back deposited into a PayPal Savings account will also be discontinued.

If you would like to redeem your PayPal Rewards Points using either option listed above, you must do so before 11:59 PM Pacific Standard Time on August 1, 2026. Alternatively, you may explore other available options to redeem your Rewards Points, for example, by redeeming your points for gift cards on the Honey website.

Please also note that on or after June 29, 2026, participation in and receipt of some future Rewards program benefits may require your enrollment or opt-in through the PayPal or the Honey app, website, or during checkout (for example, by taking a specific action or checking a box).

I have the "Just For You" deal at Microsoft for $440 for a Series X console. Wow, this PP deal makes this unreal for me, thanks!

We are talking $350 or so for a Series X console

Is there limited number of uses or is is 7 days no matter how many people do the offer?

Yeah but wouldn't you be using your Amex as the payment method on PayPal. I feel like it would work.
It'll show up on your statement as PayPal first. I don't think this will work and haven't heard anyone having success on here with stacking. If you try and it works, please let us know.

Unfortunately I'm not selected but I was able to get in on the last time they did this 20% back. Its great because its truly 20% back as the PayPal points can be converted to cash

Logged into my console, shopped the store and saw it

You do not have to do that though. Go online to add to the cart, will not show price, but in the cart it will reflect it IF YOU get the deal

They also offered the 2TB Limited Edition One for $599 but not sure it is worth it TBH, for me at least
But you already own an xbox? That defeats the entire point of the deal

Any idea if this will work with gift card purchases? Just about the only thing I would purchase since I already have an Xbox.

In the past, Amex has not billed as "PayPal" for me, but looks the same as a direct charge. I have successfully redeemed Amex deals when paying with PayPal. YMMV, but I think the chance is greater than 50% that you'll get the Amex deal to trigger through PayPal.
