I have it. I used it to break suspension bolts under my car with it on jack stands. Not a lot of clearance, and with large 6-point sockets you can really only orient a standard breaker bar a few ways. The ratchet makes it much easier to get the correct grip and angle to leverage/break the bolt. I got it for $7-8 when it was on woot

Out of curiosity, what does someone need a ratcheting breaker bar for? Aren't you just breaking the bolt/nut loose? Just saves you from having to switch tools to a rachet?

Maybe if there's thread locker involved that fights the whole way out, but ideally you'd just use an impact at that point.

guts of a 1/4" drive being used for 1/2" torque? I agree, I could break it easily on a breaker bar.

Same here. Doing brakes once every 10 years on some vehicle that 6-point and breakbar fits in just one place in the wheelwell and has 4mm of travel. Errrr.

This! Saves time and my knuckles. Breaker bar has a few positions, forces you to use a rachet and bust up my hands inside the engine bay when it breaks loose.
Also some bolts don't just break away, they have nylon nuts or threat locker and need the breaker bar for half of the bolt removal.
