Nice way to try otherwise overpriced soap. I particularly liked the pine tar scent when I tried it. If you like bar soap, this stuff lasts a good while and gets the job done but half the price is in the branding. I have tried a lot of different bar soaps and always go back to Dove when I run out from deals like these. When it comes to this style of branded "manly" soap, I also like Duke Cannon.

Tried a Wood Barrel Bourbon bar earlier this year and quite liked it...BUT...it lasted me about a 30 days. Not sure why I expected it to last longer but I was sad when it ran out. I guess for the price I paid of like 7 bucks I figured it might last a little longer. I enjoyed it for what it's worth but it did come with a hefty price tag. Some of these are available at Walmart for 4 bucks I think for the smaller bars if you wanted to try one or gift it in a stocking or something like that over Christmas time.

I would totally agree if it was just the soap. Yet two thousand people purchased this sent of cologne every month for $50. So for $36 it is a deal with the cologne. Plus the Walmart bars for $4 are 2.3oz

These are small and what's worse is they crumble when they get smaller. The pine tar just falls apart.
I've used this soap for years, and I won't disagree with this. Once you get down to a certain thickness on the soap, it breaks apart if you apply too much pressure. However, I will say I find the soap to be worth it overall, as it smells really nice and my skin doesn't react harshly like it sometimes does with cheaper mainline soap brands like Dove, Dial, etc. What I usually do is buy a year's worth on Black Friday and coast on that.
As this sale is the smaller soaps... I would say this is actually kind of a mild deal, but a good way to try it out. It's not "overpriced"; it's "you get what you pay for".
FYI, my local Target had the 5oz "Christmas Branded" ones for $2.39 on clearance. They were on a cardboard rack at the end of the aisles (near where usual Target clearance is) with the other $7.99 Sasquatch soaps. Only difference was the packaging. This was last weekend (March 28th).

Some scents of this brand can be had at Target on various clearance endcaps every now and again if it interests someone.
