Actually they look pretty sad. I got these Luminara candles from Woot years ago and still going strong as well as often get compliments from guests thinking they are real. On a daily timer, they last about a year with 2x D batteries but I eventually got rechargeable Ds and have to recharge every 4-5 months but worth it.
