How come it doesn't have its own carrying box.
These would probably a decent upgrade from the Harb Fright version I've seen with similarly assortment.

Are there any tackle box could housed these Kobolt tools?

I love how I got one of these sets for $99 like a decade ago. But somehow they've managed to manufacture it cheaper each year to keep it $99

Four sets were available near me when I posted the deal last night, now down to two sets. I'm thinking this deal may get more YMMV as the day goes on. Today's sale price is a "Deal of the Day."

It's $59 off the former price, but the socket sets are so basic that you'll end up spending considerably more buying the individual sockets you'll need, which are priced exorbitantly. I really don't see this particular set as being a great value in any way other than on paper.

I may still regardless so I have a "base" of okay tools (rather my current mismatch discount bin crap tools) Any input appreciated.

Sorry, can you elaborate on the socket set being basic? I'm new to the tool discussion. In the product description, there's sooo many sockets. Are these not usual/common sizes?

You can find bike tool kits on Amazon for $30-60. Out of this set you would only really use like a dozen of tools on a bike and missing specific tools, whereas a bike tool kit you would essentially use every tool before getting into more specialized tools. This would be great if you already have a tool chest with drawers that these sleeve can drop into. These tools are more suited for general home/basic mechanical repair, which would still be good to have if you don't already have a set.

It's an okay set I bought it and returned it. A comment on the website says they'd rather eliminate the 1/2 drive stuff and have a full set of 3/8 which I'd agree with
