Great product. Highly recommend. Resets quickly after a cut and lasts for a good amount cuts using the Dewalt 2ah battery (which I would recommend using for weight reasons).

This is a fair price before shipping for the bare tool. Was available with a battery and charger from HD after the holidays, but that deal is long gone.

Be mindful of where your free hand and fingers are when using this tool.

This tool is very helpful if you live in a place that only allows you to throw out yard waste in a smaller compost bin. You can chop everything down to smaller sizes easier than crushing it and maximize your space.

This is a good price that compares to Homey Depot's clearance price of chasing the white unicorn they had a couple months ago. To avoid shipping cost maybe try text homey depot or lowes and get a price match for local pick up.

Does it?
That clearance included a battery and charger for $65

This hack attack at homey depot is cheaper by $6 and no sales tax if you go through the military store.

I bought the kit version with the 2.0 Ah battery on clearance at Home Depot for $75.00. It was the last one in the store, and it was on the highest shelf they had. Luckily the item number was printed on a giant label that allowed me to find it.

I got this awhile ago and its pretty great, but it's pretty bulky/heavy.
I also bought a cheap knockoff with battery for $30 and I actually use that more because it't smaller and lighter. I like it so much, I bought one for my 80 year old father in law, retired farmer who appreciates a good tool, and he LOVES it. he's thanked me many times.

anyway, these tools are very useful and you'll start looking for projects just to use it.

I've used this to clear two acres of invasive honeysuckle, multiflora rose, and burning bush. Cut the trunk close to the ground with the pruner then dab with concentrated glyphosate. Couldn't be easier

getting to be that time of year here in MN, this is a good reminder to start charging up the batteries.
