Reminder, this is the brushed combo, these tools are 10+ years old, the batteries are tiny capacity, and you're paying the price of a modern brushless combo with bigger batteries. Dewalt keeps this deal around because people who don't know tools buy it, often as a gift for people who can't return it.

If you're handwaving away the lousy deal because it gets you into the Dewalt battery system, this isn't even a good or cheap way into the Dewalt battery system, and if you're just looking for DIY tools, other brands are more DIY-friendly.
