After trying a few dental treats for my husky, I found this type to be the most effective. She actually enjoys the taste too. She enjoys the green dental brush treats too, but they never seem to actually remove plaque/tartar like this product. After 4 bags in over 3 months, there was significant improvement. This seems like a more affordable price too, as I was only able to recieve similar discounts through chewy first autoship.

This is not much of a deal. You can get one less in the pouch for under $8

I doubt it has much digestive health properties.

" I doubt" meaning you really don't know. Provide some scientific backup to support claims like this. Then it has credibility. But without knowing to say this isn't a deal because you're basing it solely on the # of treats in Bag A vs Bag B tells me I doubt you're an expert in the field of canine health.

Paging Dr. Moe, Dr. Larry and Dr. Curly!

AI Overview
Yes, Progut® (a yeast hydrolysate) and ProGut (probiotic brand) generally help dogs by improving digestive health, enhancing immune function, and regulating bowel movements, including reducing diarrhea and gas. It is particularly useful for managing stress-related tummy issues, enhancing nutrient absorption, and supporting dogs with, for example, allergies, according to https://www.hankkija.com/progut-i...ydrolysate.

Wow! You shore did show me!

Meanwhile. back in the real world..... Nowhere does it say on the package or product page the actual amount of these ingredients that are in these particular chews. Perhaps if you gave your dog these probiotics separately in vet recommended quantities it will do some good, but most products like these chews don't have enough of the item in them to make much difference. So once again, I say it is highly doubtful they make much difference in that way.

It's like dog food for seniors that contain glucosamine. None that I investigated have enough glucosamine in each portion to come close to the doctor recommended dosage to help a dog with arthritis. But it looks good on the bag. You were so busy "proving" me wrong that you failed to consider that. You are also forgetting that most wouldn't be buying these for the probiotics, but for the teeth cleaning. And for anyone whose dog doesn't need probiotics, there is no need to spend that much. So I stand by my assessment. Good going getting sucked in by the hype.

It comes down to individual choice. The reviews of the OP variety are excellent with a few people saying they've helped their dog's digestive issues.

That said, another big aspect you missed are the ingredients, these are made from Chicken and Pumpkin, not chicken only. So they're not the same treats with sole difference of the pre-biotic in them.

Bottom line, buy what works for your dog, based on the fact this is front page, i'd guess many people think this is a great deal at this price point as these digestive treats are pretty pricey normally. As a % off normal prices this is a much better deal than your example.
