How are these for running on the road and on a treadmill. I'm prob running 5-8 miles a week.

Perfectly fine - Adidas is really stepping up their entry level foams - they are just as good as mid-tier from 2-3 years ago. I run 20+ miles a week and these are very good daily trainers. I actually think they are better than Hokas for daily training.
