77" C5 at $1600 is a much better buy. If your budget is $1400 absolute maximum, scoot your seats 6 inches closer to the TV, get the 65" B5/C5, and spend the remainder on a sound system.

Just from RTINGS, better brightness obviously, then better colors because of the increased brightness, as well as better image processing. B4 to B5 was an upgrade for HDR but a downgrade for SDR, whereas C4 to C5 was a noticeable upgrade, except for it dropping DTS audio compatibility. No one ever wishes they went with a dimmer TV, but almost any enthusiast wishes their OLED were brighter. B5/C5 still aren't even bright enough to be recommended in rooms with natural light.

I have the 48"of this as a pc monitor and for 4k gaming and web browsing or media movies at my desk this oled is great. I love the vivid colors and I know it doesn't get super bright like a g5 or even a c5 but is definitely bright enough using the hdr calibration tool in windows I saw a dramatic difference. HDR gaming looks sublime. For $499.00 when I saw it on sale I took a chance and I am glad I did. I was looking at the 77" to replace my Hisense 75" U7G but that tv refuses to die. Can't justify an oled replacement if the current one still works. For ps5 and XBOX the LG oled looks way better than anything else I've ever used. 144hz or even 165hz would be nice on a c5 or g5 but at 4k 120hz gets the job done.

Yes, same. I have a 70 inch Vizio in the front room until it dies. As time passes OLED TVs get brighter and cheaper. I would love to get three of OLED TVs of this size for the ultimate triple monitor setup.
