the new one does both jobs pretty good. if you genuinely don't need it for any amount of torque the highspeed last gen one is comparable but the new one handles a lot more torque.

Nah don't really need the high speed or torque bc I have the m12 stubby and torque wrenches for really hard jobs. But I'm liking that Milwaukee is giving all of us options.Just wish the prices would be more competitive

Newer version has twice the rpm, 27% more torque, is thinner and easier to maintain. I'm sure the older model is fine for DIY mechanics, but you should be aware that there is a significant difference between this version and newer one.
