I suppose it is if you live in an apartment complex and can't drill holes in the counter top for a traditional RO system. the filter is tiny and replacements are $80.

i think these systems just dump the bad water back in to the main tank. Which is where it draws the water to filter from.

So the nasty dirty water goes right in to the water tank that gets filtered again then in to your drinking water. Seems like a bad plan, but I may be wrong.
