Are these safe to use now? I know there was a batch of a similar version that would often crash. I wanna purchase this, but I'm worried.

I'm not in the market for an SSD, but SanDisk would be the last brand I'd consider after the way they handled the failure issues with their drives.

I do understand everybody has to decide when to buy NVMe/SSD/Hard drives. I just can't do it right now, I'm so used to buying 2 TB for about 100 dollars from before the AI madness. But I do understand when you are thirsty ... you need a drink. I still have enough space on my drives, so I am ok, right now.
