Fair warning, there's probably a reason it is on sale. The Amazon ISBN doesn't match but publication date says Sep 2025 so I suspect will have this issue.


Affected Edition: The new hardcover, often listed with ISBN 9780063388468 (or similar HarperCollins/William Morrow releases from 2024-2025), which is advertised to have 192+ pages.
The Problem: Readers have reported that specific sections, including scenes in Mirkwood (spiders) or later in the book, may be missing entirely or have blank, unprinted pages.

Thanks for the warning. At this price, I'll gamble it's a good printing. I can always return it if there are issues.

This is also very much in line with the style of fantasy comics/animation around that time period. I'm sure it was honestly a bestseller when it was new.
