A good tool to have, but you should be able to pick up a decent one in any small hardware store for about this price or less any day of the week. I have an Ivy Classic, rockwell hardness 63-64, that I bought in Manhattan last year for $14, not on sale. It cuts great.

If you're new to files, try a set like this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky.../206313272 for $15. They are pretty good, and you'll develop a sense of what types of files to use for what kinds of work.

Didn't know Gearwrench made files, but why not.

I dont know anything about this file, but I do know Gearwrench is primarily a socket and wrench company and there are a lot of legit rasp/file companies like Nicholson and Pferd that sell individual files for $20
