Roborock Qrevo Curv is a high end robot vacuum and mop that stands out for strong suction, smarter navigation, and a self washing, self emptying dock. The camera based obstacle avoidance, corner arm, tangle free brush, AdaptiLift threshold crossing, and remote viewing features make it feel more hands off than older Roborocks. Setup and mapping are fast, and it handles pet hair and everyday floor cleaning well. The main caveats are that the LiDAR does not retract, so it will not fit under furniture below 4 inches, and the mopping can leave circular streaks or need extra passes. A polished pick if your home layout fits its height.

btw this is tech and its old thats why its on sale. for 660 you could get another company with the new tech. like ecovacs that has a roller mop and more suction power
This is a flagship from a year and a half ago. Also, it's a Roborock. Roborock is the market leader for a reason. They are more reliable than other brands, their app is better than any of the others, and it's just generally easier to recommend them to the average person who wants a quality robot vacuum experience these days

They're pretty much the "Apple" of robot vacuum companies right now, especially in the US.

$660 plus some additional combination of 10, 15 and 20% coupons stacked on top make this thing a very, very good value for money. Hence all the comments and upvotes on this deal.

Even though this robot is a late 2024 flagship, you're really not missing a hell of a lot here compared to what's out now.

The robot vacuum feature race was full-tilt from 2021-2024 and has since calmed down quite a bit as they're really running out of ideas for how to make these things meaningfully better since then.

By the way, we have 2 Target accounts, mine and GFs, and we checked both of our accounts and none have the coupons.

We ended creating a new Target account, with a different Gmail address, just to try and see if it is new accounts getting coupons.
We did not provide a phone number during setup (it's optional) and we clicked on "Join now" to join Target Circle but didn't enter the birthday.

Voila! It worked. 20% and 10% stackable coupons

We created yet another Target account just to test it, and both of the new accounts have the stackable coupons.

This is Target's way of saying "we know you are a regular shopper and have our store card, and likely to make the purchase even without the coupon so F you no discounts for you, we own you, we don't need to incentivize you, only new accounts get good stuff"

Ended up purchasing the Qrevo Pro, the slimmer and longer dock is more convenient to us, we are going to put it sideways so it's more flush with the wall, and we had 1 for local pickup closeby.
Plus we couldn't cough up the extra $200 for the Curv, not trying to make this a Curv vs Pro comment it just doesn't work out financially for me. Pro came up to $362 total, not bad for our first advanced vacuum robot that is not a Roomba or extinct Neato.
Thank you and the OP so much! We just had 1700 sq ft of engineered hardwood put down in out house. I figured I was going to have to wait for BF to get a great deal. $513 out the door after 20 and 10% off coupons last night.

Had the 20% on my account, but not the other 15% or 10%. Took earlier suggestion last night and created a new account under a different email address. I had the 20% and 10% and I purchased using my Target credit card for an additional 5%. Came out to $451.43 before taxes, so the 3 discounts were effectively 31.6% off.

For those with a 3d printer, here is a bagless dust bin for the Curv. I am currently printing it out and you'll need a filter for it which is linked on the site as well. https://makerworld.com/en/models/...-x-dustbin

I have not used a truly high end vacuum like this, but I have had Samsung and Eufy robovacs. I found those as not good enough. Once you step up to something like this model, will I see a massive upgrade in quality of cleaning or is it just going to be slightly better?

Hey guys I know the post is dead and all but I know some people have notifications on old threads.

I did some digging on how to help with smell and the tips/tricks that people use for these robots.

A lot of people do the the dab of mouthwash with alcohol on the dirty tank, which isn't particularly effective as a bacterial agent due to the small alcohol content and it works more as a refresher for odor than anything else.
And it also isn't as cost effective as you may think but my take away was that the mouthwash doesn't do anything for the clean water tank and the internal tubes and all those things, especially the mini tank inside the robot which may accumulate sediment and it only needs a little bacteria to start growing slime/goop/algae internally and will be detrimental to the smell (old mop/sewage smell). Just think about it, the tube transporting the dirty water from the mop cleaning to the dirty water tank, will never see any disinfecting happening, ever, unless you force a solution.

Roborock sells (or used to sell) a cartridge of "silver ions" that goes in the clean water tank, which makes sense because now you close the loop and the water with "silver ions" will run through everything, but I was reading that this isn't particularly effective, cost effective, or particulatly do anything for your floors. Buying cheap "silver nitrate" cartridges from unknown sellers with questionable chemistry and particle size (it will get aerozolised and you will breath whatever cheap chemistry and toxic they are putting together) didn't seem like the way to go either.
Roborock also sells a blue detergent that is not antibacterial, it is a surfactant that works more as a "soap" of sorts to loosen up the dirt on the floor.

I found something, through a lot reading and AI deep research (Gemini), that may work and I'm going to try it:

HOCL (Hypochlorous acid) which is commonly used as a common household disinfectant, rinse free, non-toxic, it is pH neutral so no damage to any internal components (plastics/metals) and the correct dosage you can use it indefinitely.
You can still use the blue Roborock detergent with the HOCL, you may not need as much though.

I bought the 500 PPM concentration gallon bottles (whatever is most cost effective to you), and the AI recommends adding 160ml (5.4oz) of this concentration for daily floor disinfectation and to completely prevent slime/algae from forming anywhere internally. AI suggested 200ml "for a sweet spot".

The math came up to $0.79 of HOCL every full 4L clean water tank refill because I am bulk buying the HOCL for long term use (4 gallons of "BRIOTECH Extra Strength HOCl Cleaner 500 PPM" for $75.99 guys don't roast me too hard I have the space for it below a cabinet and I couldn't find anything cheaper, if you find it bulk buy cheaper or you think this is just plain dumb, just let me know I can take the criticism but no need to be harsh).

If the floor is particularly dirty and you want to fully sanitize it, you add 320 ml of the HOCL 500PPM solution, obviously less cost effective but you wouldn't be doing this every time.

For hard water, you run a "descaling" cycle ever other month, you fully empty the tank, or wait until it's empty, add water, a tablespoon of citric acid, do not add the HOCL as it will be attacked by the citric acid and lose descaling potency in the system. You can still add Roborock detergent to the citric acid.

Depends on exactly you are expecting from it. Famous comedian Jimmy Carr says "happiness is your current situation minus expectations".

I had have multiple vacuum robots and I found that as you look more and more into the "features" you get torn into a million buckets of categories that make them often not comparable unless you do a lab simulated environment like the "vacuum wars" website.

If I start zooming out and and out until I am comfortable looking at them to explain it to a 6 year old, I'd say that the biggest milestones are 3:

Smart navigation, Suction power, and Mopping. Those are the big 3 things I'm looking for in a Vacuum robot, everything else is "nice to have".

My extinct Neato had amazing suction power and it was one of the first (I can't remember anything relevant before it) with functional Lidar navigation. It still functional because I kept replacing the battery but in terms of vacuuming, my experience was amazing. I would manuallyd drag it in front of an area and hit the "clean 9 square feet in front of you" button, and it will do a thorough cleaning of the area. If it was a rectangular area it would distribute the 9 square feet to the rectangular space, sometimes going back a little to approximate it.

They unfortunately made some engineering mistakes, for example not using Lithium batteries, probably because of greed, or stupidity, which messed up their reputation because the cheap NiMH batteries they used would die, lose significant capcity or stop charging often, leaving customers with multi hundred dollar brick slabs that would drive customers away.

Roomba took forever to implement Lidar and smart navigation, roombas were just bouncing around with a dumb algorithm and often leave spots untouched. Every other company with capable engineers used Lidar, and so here we are, on a post about Roborock and -not- Roomba.

This whole speech is to say, with those categories come in mind for you as an upgrade, zoomed out all the way, are you particularly looking for something on a new robot? What would you like to do better than what you have?

Is the Eufy/Samsung not smart enough? Not enough suction power? Would you like it to mop as well?

Depending on these questions, yeah I'd consider and upgrade and this Roborock, and perhaps a lesser model, will have more suction power and smarter navigations than whatever you have right now, and it will "do a better job" simply because it picks up more from the floor and misses less spots.

I wanted mopping, I had a Samsung that did mopping but it was bad, so I don't count it as functional mopping. It did not hit the milestone for me so I call it a vacuum robot with extra features (such as attempting mopping). It wasn't particularly good at vacuuming either, it had low suction power, so I'd rank my old Neato higher than that Samsung.

I am not looking for smart features beyond the very basic navigation. Just the quality of cleaning. How much better it will clean compared to say a Samsung. So suction power and how effective the cleaning brush on this is what matters, especially for the MSRP.

This will be better than any Samsung robot vacuum you will have ever used by a wide margin.

Agreed with dlewis96, this Roborock would be miles better than Samsung. It is however a bit late for the flashy MSRP discount plus the 30% discount stack... but yeah it will be a better buy in terms of getting the job done if you feel Samsung is lacking.
