Legit question, have you seen and compared both? Long term use? I would doubt that $2 glasses will sustain any damage or mistreatment… not saying that the $80 would. But I would expect better materials or even warranty.

I had $170 oakleys and the damn lens coating started peeling within 2 years, literal garbage. Bought at Macy's too btw. Meanwhile, i still have a pair cheap gas station sunglasses i got for about ten bucks years ago and they still hold up even through abuse
