Originally I was a little worried about LED replacements, but apparently the mfg will send you replacements if they fail in 2 yrs, and you can buy them (2 pack for $10 https://www.amazon.com/Buzbug-Rep...0G6YRV5SS/ ) so it's probably a good option vs the old style florescent version. I have bought the florescent version of this ( most recently https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LWLFB5U/ specifically in June 2022 for $37.78 with the 2 replacement tubes) and have absolutely no complaints, there's an equal amount of attraction with 1 bulb vs 2 so I tend to only replace one florescent when there are no tubes working and you *should* in theory be able to do the same with LEDs. I have one replacement bulb still from the June purchase using this replacement strategy with it on 24/7 since purchase. Just make sure you don't put mount this anywhere where exploded bugs are a problem as it can be a bit messy and they will *SIGNIFICANTLY* reduce both seeums and noseeums. (I live in a rural area that has a fly season, and occasionally mosquitoes make it in the house, while these won't attract mosquitoes they seem to have no problem zapping the ones that wander over to check on the bug blood Wink ) Definitely worth getting if you have a lot of plants (or eat a lot of fruit) or if you just live in an area where there are enough flying bugs to bug you.

Over the past 90 days, the Buzbug LED Bug Zapper Indoor has shown considerable price volatility:

• Current price: $26.99 (today's 90-day low!)

90-day low: $26.99 (today)

90-day high: $39.99 (multiple periods)

Median price: $33.99

The price started at $34.99 in January, dropped to $33.99

through most of January and February, then fluctuated between $31.99-$39.99 in March. Today's price of $26.99 represents the lowest price in the entire 90-day period - that's $13 off the recent high price or about 33% off.

These things are quite effective and last a while.
I have been using one indoors for about 3 years occasionally during summer time.
Catches mosquitos, ghats, flies, fruit flies, etc.

When my mother's indoor plants developed some tiny flying insects from potting soil, this got rid of them, too.
These tiny insects were too small to be zapped, but they were still attracted to the light and must have gotten dehydrated by the heat.
Anyways, I think it's worth it to have around.

I can assure you, if this is a real zapper you will not be mounting above your couch or have it in front of you on end table lol

This is not for mosquitos. They might get killed by it if a mosquito accidentally falls into it.

I'd much rather have a bug zapper than a fly swatter caked with bug guts. I'm ordering one for the garage.

I bought this at $35. The best zapper I have ever used to treat the small black fly from indoor plants. I placed the zapper next to the plant and could hear the continuous ZZZZT sound at the start.

The solution of "plug-in lights with a sticky pad" as mentioned by others simply cannot compete with this.

If you need this in your house then you have some serious bug problems. Also a real bug zapper indoors sounds kind of gross. I have one of those plug-in lights with a sticky pad on it and it works wonders with gnats or fruit flies.
I have 3 of those in my house I hate those tiny bugs. 100% agree on the little plug in ones they work great.
