This is not for mosquitos. They might get killed by it if a mosquito accidentally falls into it.

If you need this in your house then you have some serious bug problems. Also a real bug zapper indoors sounds kind of gross. I have one of those plug-in lights with a sticky pad on it and it works wonders with gnats or fruit flies.
