An 83C5 is arguably better. The 83G3 doesn't have MLA

Seen 83" G5 on here for $3100 to give some context. I think that is worth it more than this older panel.

Last three high end Samsungs I've had were "refurbished" with an extended warranty.... 12, 7, and 5 years ago all going strong.

Oled is a bit different, but I also just got this a couple weeks back with a 5 year warranty for $2300 from Costco. That being said, a decent couple year warranty that actually holds some utility - I would have pulled the trigger on this.

TV is bad ass.

I still have an OLED from 2016 that's still up and running. The old E6 series with 3D! No heat sink, no anti burn-in tech… still works great and still no noticeable burn-in. I'll never part with it because the 3D looks peak.

I went with a Sony 3d TV from 2016 for 3d. I'm sure oled looks better, but I wanted passive glasses and an IPS screen. I'm glad to see someone else enjoying 3d. I also use it for 3d emulation like 3ds and virtual boy. Works great, but you are limited to 1080p.

Nice! How does 3DS 3D look on a tv screen? The LG E6 is passive 3D. As long as you're within a 30 degree viewing angle, there's minimal ghosting and the pop out is amazing.
