.. I was tempted and maybe it's just luck of the draw there are a lot of positive amazon reviews.. but if you filter by critical amazon reviews there are reviews that talk about how the power brick gets really hot and then there's this review

I do not recommend this product. This charger over heated the first time I used it and started melting the brick. It also over heated my brand new AirPods Pro 3s I had plugged into it and turned the battery case yellow.
Anker was willing to replace the product and offer me 25 percent off another of their products should I choose to buy something else from them. I don't think I will be."
I will say Anker's customer service has been amazing in the past and they've been happy to replace products for me under warranty at no cost to me (I've found they usually ask for the defective item to be sent back to them but they'll give you a prepaid shipping label and they'll quickly mail out the replacement )

This is one of my favorite mobile chargers. Significantly smaller than anything 65w and runs 24x7 at 45w. Pair it with one of the Anker 1 to 2 USBC cables and you can top up 2 devices overnight at the hotel. Keeps my tablet and phone happy with minimal space in the bag.

Haven't had a problem with heat using it indoors but it definitely gets warm.

Awesome compact brick. Going strong for three years now. Actually, looks like mine is the Nano II 65W. Not sure about this one but if anything like the Nano II, awesome device.
