Short of buying used from a private seller (and getting lucky), this is about the cheapest you'll find a monitor of this size and features.

Cons upfront: 23" isn't impressive. 1920x1080 16:9 isn't impressive either (it's 2026, we've LONG since passed the point of retiring the antiquated 16:9 aspect ratio, especially at this paltry pixel density).

But it does have height + tilt+ swivel adjustment.... AND a VESA mount. And it's IPS (not TN). Those are some nice features to see in a $100 panel, let alone a $25 panel.

This is amazing for a budget. And it's a decent panel if it's a secondary/tertiary display....or for a workshop/ancillary usage (like monitoring security cameras).

In for one. For $25, with a Dell 90 day warranty, and IPS, makes it well worth it. Thanks OP.

I think it costs them more to ship this thing than you'll pay for the product. Excellent deal!

I bought it because of the free shipping lol. It's just going to sit in the guest room as paperweight but definitely worth it.

It should be a 2017 as the last 2 digits of the model number are usually the release year. That said I have a 2011 ultrasharp that is still working perfectly.
in for 1 of these for a $25 backup monitor that actually will cost zero after amex business platinum Dell credit Smilie Thanks OP!

My current pc monitor curved 32" 2560x1440 16:9 165hz but I still have a 55" 1080p tv. 1080p is the top single screen display resolution with 51.9% usage and 2560 x 1440 coming second at 20.7% on steam charts, both 16:9. youtube tops out at 1080p for most videos. 1080p media is less demanding on storage space than higher res video, given the price of storage. 1080p is going to stick around for a while, no matter how much you complain. 60 fps on the other hand needs go away. higher fps > higher resolution for gaming. And given the choice on my phone I set to lower resolution to increase battery life.

When I bought refurbished from Newegg, it meant that there is a giant scratch across the screen. Contacting the cs, I was told that they all have scratches and it is what refurbished means. How does this compare?
