While I don't have this specific model, I have been very pleasantly pleased with Tapo software, ease of pairing, app design, and rich features. For something as cheap as a digital plug, you get scheduling (relative to sun rise/set if you want), live tracking, day-by-day data, and Google Home compatibility out of the box!
I guess I'm saying: Tapo isn't some gimmicky company trying to sell you yet-another-plastic-product. Their software does some serious lifting to keep the (pretty good build quality) hardware going for years.

All of that being said, this isn't that much of a deal, since it's been at $20 since November

I have the Tapo doorbell and it's great. Going to get a couple of these to replace my outdoor Wyze cameras since they keep eating the SD cards and I'm sick of replacing them every 6 months.

Don't know about this C113, but I would go for the C120 for a couple bucks more. I used to have 6-Wyze Cam OG's and got sick of constant disconnects from my network, slow que-up times and missed events. Tried a TapoC120 in a side by side comparison. Spent most of last year converting all my cameras one at a time. C120 wasn't voted the best of 2025 for nothing.

Love my tapo cameras. Crazy world we live in when the micro SD cards costs more than the cameras now!

I would be wary to recommend C120 at this time. They had some firmware released last year that made it a nightmare. Lags even after reboot.

It was great before, but you can't downgrade. The only camera that I recommend from them at this time is the C113. Been rock solid. If you're using this with RTSP NVR software and you have good connectivity, switch to REOLINK. Your recording quality improves if you can adjust the bit rate from VBR to CBR.
