Thanks for the link to BB. It worked for me. 50% off on two wire dimmers is just what I was waiting for to upgrade two existing 1960s dimmers and upgrade some dumb on/off switches to auto control plus dimmer.

TP-Link's switches all require neutral wires, can be hit or miss as to whether neutrals are present in switch boxes in a 60s home.
I have a few different Tapo light switches (dimmers, 3-way switches, sensors, some are Matter). I've been running them for a year, and all work great. I haven't had any issues or needed to restart them. The connection is always stable. I even blocked some from the internet in my router, and they still work great.
