Absolute garbage, guaranteed.

No way it comes anywhere near the stated output. Ever. 100% waste of money.

Never.. even if it did, the battery quality is apparently extremely poor bases on the 1 star reviews

Independent reviews suggest actual functional output is often around 1,400 to 5,000 lumens which is still sufficient for camping or emergency use

This is the same type of flashlight that is often available for half this price. The brightness is WAY overstated. The only difference here is you get a cute case to go with it.

The closest reference I could find for 100,000 lumens is an international tournament tennis court doubles match, at about 117,000 lumens. I will contact Wimbledon and let them know that I have a much cheaper and more efficient lighting option for their tournaments.
https://www.mklights.com/BLOGS/ho...hting.html

The most efficient commercially available LEDs are about 200 lumens per watt. At 100,000 lumens, this flashlight would require at least 500W of power. The battery that comes with this appears to be a 26650 battery with a capacity of 6000mAh and a nominal voltage of 3.6V, so 21.6Wh. 21.6W*h / 500W = .043hr runtime, or 2.5 min. That's actually a really long time to run this LED at 500W considering that they only advertise a 30W rating.
https://solartechonline.com/blog/...lbs-guide/

Another way to look at it is efficiency. A 100% efficient light source generates about 680 lumens per watt. If this can output 100,000 lumens by only using 30W then this light is about 490% efficient. You could make a perpetual light machine by shining this light at a solar panel that's 20.4% efficient. With a super efficient 25% solar panel this combination would be a net generator of electricity, solving the world's energy crisis. All that for $10.99? How can you pass that up?

For 11 bucks? With an included 6000mAh 26650 Li-Ion battery and a padded case? It's obviously not 100k, and if you're really expecting that, you're probably gonna cry when you turn it on, but as long as your expectations are realistic, this is a helluva deal for a very bright flashlight. It's probably closer to the 2000-3000 lumen ballpark, but that's still very bright. Just get that 100k number out of your head, and you'll be very happy with it. FWIW, I ran a capacity test on the included 6Ah battery, and it tested very close to 70% of advertised at just over 4Ah, which is far better than what I expected and much better than what most cheapo no-name batteries test at. If SD would let me upload a picture, I would share my findings, but they won't.

100% agree. If your expecting 100k, your gonna cry when you turn it on, but if you want a super bright, probably in the 2 to 4k lumen range flashlight, it's gonna be hard to beat 11 bucks, especially with an included 26650 battery.
