This is just the ratchet. They sell socket sets to match these with the normal socket hole but outside of that they have a head like a bolt head. The 3/8" sockets have a 17mm bolt head. So you can turn them with a 3/8 ratchet, a normal 17mm wrench, a 17mm ratcheting wrench, or this ratcheting wrench that is more like a traditional ratchet. The smaller socket set ends at 19mm and the bigger socket set ends at 24mm. These are made to get in really tight locations.
