It's a very solid phone but if I'm a bit careful I would get the fold 7 for around 700 or 800

They are probably dropping the price of the fold 6 due to the impending arrival of the fold 8. I'm curious what the price of the fold 7 will be once the 8 is out.

there're couple Fold7 for $550 new - what is wrong with them other than sellers have no history?

Having no history is the only problem you need to know!

However fold7 can be easily had for 900-950 from good sellers

I got mine for$900. Slight scratches, but works totally great! I'll probably hold off on upgrading till the 9 or the X

FYI the Fold6 is a good phone, but beware that it can have a problem with the internal cables coming disconnected and it won't boot.
If that is the case look on youtube and you can find tutorials on how to fix it. It is kind of wacky, but it works.

Anyone actually order one of these from this seller? What was the condition of the phone?

Yes, this seller was selling this fold 6 last month, I got the excellent condition 512gb for $560. If you look at that thread, some people werent happy with the condition they got it in. For me, I saw a little scuff on the inside screen that may or may not be the screen protector damaged, but other than minor scratches on the hinge it was nearly excellent.

I love my foldable phone, but I would not buy one in "good" condition.

I got an "excellent - refurbished" condition fold5 from cellfeee that had a busted inner display and scratches all over the housing.

Sent it back as Significantly Not As Described and got my refund. Bought another one from a different seller. Night and day difference.

"GOOD" sounds kind of scary for such a fragile device thats used
