Synopsis:
  • Dunkirk opens as hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops are surrounded by enemy forces. Trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea, they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in. The story unfolds on land, sea and air. RAF Spitfires engage the enemy in the skies above the Channel, trying to protect the defenseless men below. Meanwhile, hundreds of small boats manned by both military and civilians are mounting a desperate rescue effort, risking their lives in a race against time to save even a fraction of their army.

Warner Bros is leaving digital copies out on many of their releases.

Great movie. I still don't own a blue ray player and never plan on getting one unless the price becomes reasonable. Not worth the upgrade imo to have to re-buy the hundreds of movies I own for a slightly higher quality picture.

I'm kinda with you.
I don't bother upgrading unless it's a movie I want & a worthwhile transfer, especially on the audio side.

I don't buy CN because of this.
He does not upgrade audio.

One of the worst war movies I've ever seen unfortunately. Outstanding cast, but Nolan dropped the ball.

What specifically was bad about it? I've heard the sound design is top notch and seems the critical reception was overwhelmingly positive.
