Remember there are 2 different Panasonic lines, the original company which makes quality TV's and the other which is a rebranded generic Chinese product.

these use LG panel, which is almost on par with the C series just not as bright, on the plus side if you own a soundbar, the integrated speakers are about as good as a mid level sound bar (think $200-$300 sound bar), and you can also hook up at external subwoofer directly to the TV (TV also comes with integrated subwoofer)

None of them are by Panasonic. Panasonic OLED is made by TCL in China, the budget line is made by Vestel in Turkey.

I bought this TV about a month ago and I'm so happy I did. Picture is top notch and the integrated sound system works very well for a built in system. It's a home theater in a box.

I got this tv just under a month ago from them. It's the master bedroom tv and I've paired with the dune homatics 4k box. It's a very clear picture especially with IPTV and very little pixilation if any at all. I would recommend the $1499 with the protection plan. It covers accidentals. That includes drops,cracks, and burn in. You also get the wireless headset which I havent tried

TCL doesn't manufacture OLED TVs for Panasonic or for any other brand. They dont yet have the OLED TV manufacturing capability.

Panasonic's top of the line (Z95B) came very close to beating Bravia 8 M2 in the TV shootout King of TV last year. Dont think you will be able to differentiate them.
