Does anyone know how well the paper in these notebooks works with fountain pen ink?

Quick heads up. I was gonna buy this 2 pack, but reviews turned me off. The listing says they are 10" tall, but really more like 8.5" tall for the cover and pages are more like 8" tall.

Many reviewers noted these notebooks are smaller than expected.

I got another slick deal on these notebooks (or similar) a couple months ago and it's no rhodia paper but it's not super cheap junk. I'd say it's decent for a scratch pad but if you're taking the time to use a fountain pen id say treat yourself to a better paper.

Honestly I've become a bit of a paper snob myself. I also much prefer dot grid over lines these days.

Thanks for the comments regarding paper quality. I can get notebooks for free at conferences, but for money, I like good quality paper.
