Fairly warm deal, not hot. $50 cents per pound is slick like it was for this brand last month, and January, and November.

This was worth jumping on! Although I am very confused why Walmart is carrying the same item listing twice at different prices... hope I'm not missing anything with the $55 one.

I bought similar 55lb set on past SD... the off-gassing is very bad. They are "recycled rubber" on the outside, not new vinyl material which has very little off-gassing. Even after scrubbing with Dawn dishwasher detergent, Dawn PowerWash spray, all-purpose spray cleaner, and leaving out in the sun for over 3 weeks, there is a black residue that comes off with paper towel, and likely onto hands with moving the weights around.

The off-gassing is less now, but I wear full gloves when moving these and/or wash hands well afterward.

Too bad vinyl ones are much more expensive,

If these are cast iron core, good deal, but 3x17" I suspect they are not.
