I'd say for desktop use, they are really boomy and impactful. I have to tune bass and treble way down to get not fatigued.
When I get shot at in Battlefield 6, my body physically feel the impact, from those speakers.
These are absolutely fantastic. Also amazing for music.

I got these for $599 back in 2025 same costco deal. Are they worth it? Hmmm debatable. Sound quality for me is great, it is very clear especially at low volume so no complaints. I think for $599+tax, they are pretty expensive and honestly not sure if its REALLY worth the price.

That said, I have seen these multiple times on sale since I bought them (I think it hit $599 again maybe 2-3 times since this post). This is the first time I've seen $500 and if you're in interested and price is no question I think the quality is worth it and I don't suspect it will drop even lower unless there's a new model coming out.

For context I also purchased a KEF Kube 8B subwoofer on ebay since and personal opinion there's like no need for the extra bass unless you're using it in a larger space.

Hope that helps anyone on the fence.

Well, if you equate good speaker with a lot of bass, you will only like the cheap kind.
Heard something new.

These LT versions are not true "wireless" as you have to run a cable between them. Only one speaker has the amp in it. Non-LT and LS50 II Wireless are both truly wireless speakers. Pass.

The Klipsch will have superior bass and overall dynamics especially in the treble; the KEF will have superior mids and imaging. In real world usage, I'd take the Klipsch if usage is mainly movies, gaming, and/or dynamic music genres especially if you like it loud. I'd take KEF if mainly doing moderate SPL listening, and if you prefer midrange-dominant, moderate-tempo genres (classical, jazz, vocals).

But I'd take a set of passive speakers with mini-amp with bass management (Douk A5) and starter sub for the same price as the Klipsch, in a heartbeat. Way more versatile, better sounding, and best of all, device security---dirt cheap and easy to replace the amp when it dies in X years, rather than being stuck with a pair of expensive doorstops.

Review of this model(from spinorama.org)-these are actual technical reviews with detailed measurements and not some BS impression review.

https://www.erinsaudiocorner.com/...lsx_ii_lt/

There is also a review on the regular Lsx which is probably sonically similar.

Not perfect, but pretty neutral with excellent dispersion. Mainly limited in spl due to the size.

The LSX II is identical sonic wise to the LT model. They use the exact same drivers and same amp
they removed some auxiliary features and the fabric covering.

These junks are overpriced even at $500. $300 is more reasonable for something this weak.
Yep, overpriced junk, hyped with paid reviewers and commenters, who can't find better job other than upvote or downvote something.

Expensive.

I bought the bigger brother, LS50 Meta. Not impressive at all, no bass, can't compare to cheap floor speakers.
If you want to give it a try, go ahead, it's Costco.
You're correct. Most audiophiles don't use a subwoofer, pure two‑channel analog setups are considered the best. Subwoofers are mainly for movies, though adding one for music can be good too. Still, I generally recommend no subwoofer for dedicated two‑channel music.
