I bought a Hisense soundbar (not this one, I got R632), when connected via HDMI-Arc the subwoofer won't go higher than -1 and randomly resets to -2. On the other inputs it will go up to full volume (+2).
Side note, this is the same company I purchased from but I got it on Amazon.

I have the same soundbar, from what I remember, it depends what you have other settings at like overall bass level, surround type, etc.

They connect to each other (left rear and right rear) with a thin cable, but not to the sub. Also note, there are 3 power cords, one to the main soundbar, one to the sub, and one to the surround pair.

Wow, bunch of down votes... have you used this speaker set up? It s not great and you get what you pay for. Other than a little more bass you are not going to be wowed by a 80 surround sound.

These were horrible and I was so happy to return them to Costco. I bet these are a Costco dump and I wish everyone the best. I bet Hisense still hasn't updated their website to include the firmware for this!
