lolFYI: the name of the brand is "COLD STEEL" the sword itself is plastic. It's kinda misleading
To be fair, it's pretty clear from the product page that it's a plastic training sword. The name isn't really misleading when everyone knows the brand. They've been one of the biggest knife brands in the US since the 80's.

What % of the population knows the largest knife brands since the 80s? I know Leatherman, Victorinox, Swiss Army, Wüsthof, Zwilling J.A. Henckels, and Shun. I feel like I know more than 99.8% of the general population with that knowledge.

Only one of those you mentioned is American (Leatherman). Also Swiss Army isn't a company, but a style of knife. Victorinox is the primary manufacturer of that style of knife, and they're coloquially called "The Swiss Army Company". Most of those companies also only manufacture kitchen knives. Cold Steel is a big player in the carry knife field (pocket knives, fixed blades, tactical, and survival knives) and anyone who knows even a little about pocket knives, etc, knows about them. Also most of the late Gen Z and older will also remember their over the top commercials that were plastered on the TV of every cable channel throughout the 90's through around 2010. https://youtu.be/L5C8I9BJjSg

I've been buying knives for 30+ years. I have a literal mountain of small pocket knives.
I have multiples of these brands: victorinox, benchmade, spyderco, kershaw, gerber, S&W, etc.
This is the first time I've heard of this brand.

Cold Steel doesn't really do small pocket knives. They're more known for their tactical, survival, outdoor, military, and law enforcement knives, along with large blades. (machetes, swords, etc). They're popular among law enforcement, military, etc. They're the brand that popularized the tanto blade shape in the West.
Also, S&W isn't a knife company. They've never made a knife. They're a gun company that throws their name on cheap no-name Chinese knives to make money off of people that don't know anything about knives.
