Can I buy this, activate it and move the sim to an unlocked iPhone, and have the S26 unlock after 60 days?
Supposed to yeah. I I bought the pixel 10 pro xl from the last mint deal and it didn't auto lock after 60 days, had to contact support for them to unlock it. They said because I enabled 2FA on my mint account, I had to disable it for them to unlock it. Might be why it didn't auto-unlock.

No its 60 days. Have a pixel 10 pro XL from them from black Friday that I was able to unlock after 2 months
Unlock policy may not be same for Pixel and Galaxy phones. Read the fine print to be sure.

anyone has experience with mint mobile trade in program?
i have an S25, trade in value shows $300

"In just a few steps, we'll check if your current phone is eligible for trade-in with our partner Allstate. Then we'll offer you a payment via check once your trade-in phone has been received and its condition has been verified by Allstate."

I believe it will work and your S26 will unlock after 60 days even it will be used in the existing line.

seems i can trade in my s25 for $330 for the S26. then it is an ok deal. But can i trust mintmobile trade in?
The trade in was offered by Allstate. It worked for me last time but the experience is not good. There is no status tracking at all and they will mail you a check. Took me almost 2 months.

Not sure about there unlocking policy, February it changed and when I called in to unlock my pixel 10 pro xl (because it didn't unlock automatically) they said 365 days, they did unlock mine since it was before the date the 365 changed from the government allowing it but at the time it was on the website 365 changed from 60. Not sure if they changed it since then.

When do you think does the deal expire?
I am debating if I should wait for the Pixel 10 256 GB (preferred) to be back in stock, or grab the Galaxy S26 256 GB right now when it is still available?
